Go Blue Eagles!  I welcome you to Clover High
School!  My experiences and education from
Wolford College (BA, Philosophy), Winthrop
University (MAT, Social Studies) and the
University of South Carolina (Ed.S,  Educational
Leadership) have brought me to having the
honor of leading our flagship school. My
family includes my wife Sherer who teaches 8th
grade at Oakridge Middle School and my two
children at Larne Elementary School, fourth grader
Mary Grace and first grader Noah.  Our pet
family includes two dogs and a cat- Harley,
Daisy and Marley.  Go Gamecocks and Go
Blue Eagles!!

Assistant Principal, 12th grade

I love Clover High School!  My undergraduate years were
spent at Winthrop University (Mathematics major and
Education minor) and my graduate years were at
the University of South Carolina (MA in Education). My
husband and I are the proud parents of two children
and three grandchildren- a new "grandboy" is due in
October!  We have various cows of which a few are
named Max, Ruby, Shy Baby and Strawberry Shortcake
as well as a cat named Taco.  Bluegrass music and
reading books are just a couple of my favorite
hobbies.  Welcome to CHS!

Welcome to our newest Blue Eagles! I am proud to work with
our ninth graders and watch them enjoy all that CHS has to
offer.  Our motto for our Ninth Grade Academy?  HSDRFC- High
School Diploma Ready for College/Career!  I attended Newberry
College on a full tennis scholarship where I received a BA with a
concentration in English and I received a Masters of Education
Supervision and Administration from the University of Phoenix.
My high school sweetheart is now my husband and we have
two terrific kids, a boxer bulldog named Junebug, a turtle named
Paw, three fish named Tiger, Goldie and Cayman and one
five-feet tall stuffed teddy bear named Sam!    Go Blue Eagles!

Ninth Grade Academy Administrative Assistant

I am so happy to be a part of th Blue Eagle family!  Since
graduating in 1991, I acquired a BA from Clemson (Secondary
Education, History and Geography), a Masters in Sports Science
from the United States Sports Academy and a Masters in
Education Administration from Grand Canyon University.  In
addition to my duties as a 9th grade administrator, I serve CHS
as the Head Boys Basketball Coach and Head Cross Country
Coach.  In my 16 years of working in education, I've worked as a
Social Studies teacher in four schools, coached football, golf,
basketball and cross country and I've also worked as an athletic
director.  My wife Jaye teaches 7th grade math at Oakridge
Middle School and we are the proud parents of daughter Caty
who attends Griggs Elementary and son Wit who will join her at
Griggs as a kindergartener this year. We are proud to be Blue
Eagles and look forward to a great year in the best school
district in South Carolina!

Carroll Hester

 Athletic Director-

Sports are an integral part to the growth of
our students and I am so pleased to begin my
20th year at Clover High School!  I received my BS degree
in Physical Education at Winthrop University and my MA
degree in Education from Furman University.  Off the
fields, I enjoy spending time with my wife Nancy who
also works at CHS and our three daughters- Rebecca,
Rachel and Caroline.

I love being a part of the Blue Eagle community! I have the
awesome privilege and responsibility to mold our
students in the most positive way possible. I am a
graduate of Winthrop College (before it became Winthrop
University!) and I wear many hats at CHS.  I am most
passionate about helping our students transition into young
adulthood and their professional lives.  I've been married for
28 years to Darrell and we are the proud parents to daughter Kasie,
a 24-year old Converse College graduate and to son Kelly who is
a 2012 Citadel graduate. Our family is complete with cats
Flash and Sparkles as well as our black lab Suzy.  Both
of our children live in Charleston so it is probably no
surprise that Charleston is my favorite place to visit!
