Tom Guinane

Mr. Guinane was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. After graduating from high school, he moved to Pueblo, Colorado to attend the University of Southern Colorado. He received a B.A. in Physical Education and began teaching and coaching in 1977. He received a M.A. in Early Childhood Special Education in 1982 and taught Special Education for 10 years before going into administration in 1992. His family moved to Nashville, Tennessee in 1994. He was a principal in Williamson County Schools for 14 years before moving to Lake Wylie in 2007.

Mr. Guinane and his wife, Carole, have two children. Carissa and her husband, Jonathan, live in Tucson, Arizona with their children, Darcy and William. Jordon and his wife, Jacque, live in Colorado Springs, Colorado with their children, Carolyn Rose and Rowan.

 

Mr. Avery Goode

Avery Goode
Mr. Goode graduated from Texas Southern University in 1976 with a B.A. degree in English and History and began teaching and coaching in the Clover School District for the next 18 years. During that time, he received his MEd in Administration and Supervision from Winthrop University. Following a six year stint in the Rock Hill School District, where he taught and coached for two years and was an Assistant Principal for four years, he returned to the Clover School District. Mr. Goode has been an Assistant Principal in several schools in the district for the past 12 years. He comes to Bethel Elementary after having been an Assistant Principal at Oakridge Middle School for the past three years.
