I am excited to be back and entering my 5th year as part of the Blue Eagle faculty and coaching staff for the 2017/18 school year. This 1st semester I am teaching Health 2nd block and PE 2 for 1st and 4th blocks. You will find all that you need to know about my classes listed in the syllabus links below. If you are in one of my classes, you will find my page updated with assignments and I am always just an email away. My office is located in the locker room of the boys 300 (old) gym but I also can be located in room 403 which is my new health room for this year. I am always at school by 7.45am each day and students may schedule a morning meeting before school with any questions/concerns. Students, please ensure you speak or email me with any curriculum concerns well before any deadline dates and I will do my utmost to guide you in the right direction. Parents, if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me and I will endeavor to respond ASAP and always within 48 hours due to my year round coaching schedule on top of my teaching duties.
Having lived in the United States since 1997 after graduating from Brunel University in West London, England with a double weighted Honors English and Physical Education teaching degree, I moved to the States to pursue my passion for Soccer ( Football :). I have been involved at every level of the game from youth to professional; highlighted by the Olympic Development (ODP), Head Men's Soccer coach at Emerson College in Boston, New England Revolution academy in Major League Soccer. However, I am a humble soul and realize that one never stops learning and I am eager to develop professionally both as a teacher and coach here at Clover High.
I have lived in York for 10 years after moving from Boston with my wife Stephanie and my two sons; Tyler (10) and Evan (5). My son Tyler is a 5th grader at Griggs Rd Elementary and Evan is entering kindergarten this year also at Griggs. My wife has secured a postion this year as the Secretary to Principal Johnson at the new 9th grade campus and I'm very proud of Stephanie and the fact that my whole family are now Clover Blue Eagles !
I am passionate about Health and Fitness and hope to be a positive role model for the young adults here at Clover High. The Men's Soccer program has proudly built a reputation of excellence as one of the top programs in the state after winning its first ever Upper state championship in the 2016 season and also making it to the state final for the first time in school history. As an extension to the High school, we compliment and reflect the same ideals, excellent values and high expectations that makes Clover High School such a special place.
