    Welcome to first grade at Oakridge Elementary! My name is Meredith Bise and I am excited to be your child's first grade teacher this year! This is my first year teaching at OES, and I am so happy to be here. I have been teaching for 21 years. Before coming to Oakridge, I previously taught in Charlotte, NC, and also at Griggs Road Elementary here in Clover.  

    I am married to my husband Mike, and we have two children, Michael who is a freshman at the Ninth Grade Campus, and Connor, who is in seventh grade at OMS.  They keep us very busy with their sports and other activities.  Most weekends we can be found on the soccer field, football field, or basketball court.  I love watching them do what they love. I also enjoy reading, excercising, and spending time with my friends and family.  The beach is my happy place! 

    I am looking forward to a wonderful year of learning and growing together! Thank you so much for supporting us at home!
