    Welcome to the OMS Media Center! We are hosting our Fall Book Fair this month. A special Thank You to the "Lunch Bunch" for assisting with Book Fair flyers. And another huge thank you to all the parents who volunteered to help at the fair!
     
    The November Reading Challenge continues into December with "Read a Historical Fiction Book." This includes war books. Students who are not interested in historical fiction may read any nonfiction book on any topic. The last day to participate is December 15th.
     
    Our Author Birthday Challenge encourages students to read books this month by the following authors celebrating birthdays in December:
    -- Tamora Pierce (fantasy), December 13th
    -- Avi (historical fiction), December 23rd
    -- Cynthia DeFelice (mystery), December 28th 
    The last day to participate is December 15th.
