February 22, 2023 CHS USC Union Dual Enrollment Presentation

Rising 11th and 12th grade students interested in USC Union Dual Enrollment classes next year need to complete two applications - one for CHS and one for USC Union - by March 30 at the latest. USC Classes include:  DE English 101, DE English 102, AP Literature, DE US History 111/112, AP US History, Anatomy 2 (DE Bio 243/244), AP Calculus AB, DE Foundations of Leadership and/or DE Psychology.

IGP CONFERENCES

IGP conferences began February 1 for rising 12th grade parents and March 1 for rising 11th grade parents at CHS.  Rising 10th grade students will meet with their Ninth Grade Campus counselor, and current CVA students will meet with Mr. Sparks.

Current juniors who plan to apply for alternate graduation (summer or winter 2023) or Middle College will need to schedule their IGP conferences for the months of November and December.  An email was sent regarding dates and signups on November 14.

To apply for the Middle College programs, please click here to access the application. Applications are due January 30, 2023--NO EXCEPTIONS!!

Juniors and parents interested in your child graduating in May:  The deadline to request to be considered for three-year graduation is February 3.

Please visit the Alternate Graduation link to the left for more information and to apply, if interested.  You will also need to meet with your counselor to verify your request.

Students are not able to change their schedules at any point during the summer or during the school year unless there is an extenuating circumstance--for instance, if a student is scheduled to take Spanish 3 but has never taken Spanish 2.  Extenuating circumstances do not include making requests for particular teachers, particular lunch blocks, or to schedule friends into the same classes.  Thank you for your understanding.
