     A Little Bit about Mrs. Young..

     My name is Courtney Young. This is my 23rd year of teaching! I'm not sure where the time has gone. I am married to Jay Young and we have 3 girls. My oldest, Lydia, is 14 years old and will be in 9th grade at Clover High School Ninth Grade Campus. My middle child, Miller, is 12 years old and will be in 7th grade at Oakridge Middle School. My youngest, Carly, turned 9 in March. She will be in 4th grade at OES this school year. All 3 are competitive gymnasts and I help with the preschool gymnastics classes at their gym. We stay busy at home, but wouldn't change a thing.
    Interesting fact about me, I'm a living kidney donor. I donated a kidney to my father this summer on July 12th (Lydia's 14th birthday)!

    I received my B.S. in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from the College of Charleston. I received my MEd. in Curriculum and Instruction from Winthrop University.

    I taught 2 years at Clover Junior High (currently the Ninth Grade Campus). I taught 7th grade math. I then moved to Ebinport Elementary School in Rock Hill where I taught Kindergarten for 7 years. I moved back to Clover when I got married and began at Crowders Creek Elementary School teaching 1st grade. I taught 1st grade for 6 years at Crowders Creek Elementary before being moved to Oakridge Elementary School. I have taught 1st and Kindergarten at OES. I absolutely ADORE Kindergarten! I am looking forward to a GREAT year!
