• Welcome Oakridge Elementary Families! My name is Stacey Rothaupt and I am one of the School Counselors at Oakridge Elementary that is fortunate to work with our PreK through 5th grade students.  I received my B.A. in Psychology from Clemson University in 2003 and then attended James Madison University in Virginia for three years where I graduated with my M.Ed. & Ed.S. in School Counseling.

I am originally from New Jersey, but have been in the Lake Wylie area for over 17 years now.  I am grateful that this is my 17th year as a School Counselor in our community & home district.  I married my high school sweetheart and have 2 precious children, Aliana (“Ali”) Grace who is 11 and Luke Bennett who is 8. They are my world and I am more than blessed!

For fun, I love being out on the lake water skiing, paddle boarding, and kayaking.  I enjoy a day on the beach, hiking, or playing any outdoor games.  I think it’s safe to say, I appreciate the sun, fresh air, and being outdoors!  I also love snow skiing in the winter.  I’m a Clemson Tigers & Pittsburgh Steelers fan during football season. My absolute favorite thing is simply spending time with family and friends—laughing and having fun.

I consider myself fortunate to be working with such dedicated and compassionate staff at Oakridge and also with our kind-hearted students and families.  I am always available for questions or suggestions—so please don’t hesitate to contact me!
