Welcome Oakridge Elementary Families! My name is Stacey Rothaupt and I am one of the School Counselors at Oakridge Elementary that is fortunate to work with our PreK through 5th grade students, alongside of my wonderful co-counselor, Ms. Vinita Maigur. I received my B.A. in Psychology from Clemson University in 2003 and then attended James Madison University in Virginia for three years where I graduated with my M.Ed. & Ed.S. in School Counseling.
I am originally from New Jersey, but have been in the Lake Wylie area for over 18 years now. I am grateful that this is my 18th year as a School Counselor and I get to do what I love in our community & in a place I consider home. I am married with two precious children, Ali (12), & Luke (9). They are my world and I love spending time with family and friends.
For fun, I love being out on the lake water skiing, paddle boarding, and kayaking. I enjoy a relaxing day on the beach, listening to music, going for walks, snow skiing in the Winter, playing board games & playing any outdoor games. I think it’s safe to say, I appreciate the sun, fresh air, and being outdoors! I’m a Clemson Tiger & Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
I consider myself fortunate to be working with such a dedicated and compassionate staff at Oakridge and also with our kind-hearted students and families. I am always available for questions or suggestions—so please don’t hesitate to contact me!
