Matt has been a teacher and athletic trainer for Clover High School since August of 2008. He received his undergraduate degree in Physical Education with an emphasis in Athletic Training from Appalachian State University. He holds a Master's Degree in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Memphis. Mr. Bressler has over 20 years experience as an athletic trainer in a variety of practice settings including Division I, II & NAIA athletics, and hospital clinic outreach. Prior to coming to Clover, Matt served as an athletic trainer for Limestone College in Gaffney SC.
In addition to his athletic training duties at the high school, Matt teaches in the Health Science Program at Clover High School. Currently he teaches Sports Medicine 1, Sports Medicine 3, and Emergency Medical Services 1. Matt also serves as a preceptor for Winthrop University's Athletic Training Program and Limestone College's Athletic Training Program
Matt is NATABOC (National Athletic Trainers' Association, Board of Certification) and SCAT (South Carolina State Certified Athletic Trainer) certified athletic trainer. He is also a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA) and the South Carolina Athletic Trainers' Association (SCATA).
