April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month, and our E.A.G.L.E.S. Call of the Month for April is Be Aware. This month our focus will be on students' overall safety, including Erin's Law, a South Carolina state requirement. It is important for students to pay attention to both people and their surroundings in order to recognize when they may be in a potentially dangerous situation as well as know the important steps they can take to keep themselves safe and let a trusted adult know that they need help. Click on the link below to access Hot Chocolate Talk How-to guide, a resource for families to easily approach these vital safety conversations at every age.
