Hello Oakridge Elementary families. My name is Vinita Maigur. I will be working alongside Stacey Rothaupt as a School Counselor at OES. I am very excited to be joining this amazing team of teachers and staff members to help support the amazing families that make up OES. I received my B.S.W (Bachelors in Social Work) from Winthrop University in 2017 and my M.Ed. (Master’s in Education in School Counseling) from Liberty University in 2019. I was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania.  My family moved to Bradenton, Florida in 2000 when I was 5 years old. We then moved to Rock Hill, South Carolina in 2010. This is my first year as a School Counselor, and I am so thankful and blessed for this opportunity to be at Oakridge Elementary. I am honored that I get to serve your community and district.

Things I like to do for fun:

I love going on hikes and being outside during the summer. If I am not visiting with family or friends, you will most likely find me at the beach enjoying the salty air and sunshine. I love spending time with my parents and sister and our sweet puppy, Penny. Family is everything to me!
