Welcome to First Grade at Oakridge Elementary!  I am so excited to have the opportunity to teach your child this year! It is hard to believe that this will be my 9th year teaching (7 of which have been in first grade)! I received my Bachelors Degree from Duquesne University in Early Childhood Education and am currently working on obtaining my Master's Degree in Literacy from Clemson University.

My family and I call Clover/Lake Wylie home and I am thrilled to be teaching in the same district as my children. Charlotte (6) will be attending Kindergarten right here at Oakridge and Finley (4) is heading into the PreK 4 class! In my spare time I enjoy working out, playing outside with my kids, reading, and going to the pool.

I hope to foster your child's love for learning through reading, exploring, and engaging them in hands-on activities! I am looking forward to a wonderful year of learning!
