• The Clover School District is proud to offer the Brights Beginnings program! Bright Beginnings is a free and voluntary program, which provides support and assistance to all parents of young children, ages birth to 5 years (60 months).

Babies are born to learn! And you are already your child’s first and most important teacher. It is our goal to help you give your child the best possible start in life.

Our Parent Educators are nationally trained to work with families using a comprehensive online curriculum that helps families strengthen protective factors and ensure that young children are healthy, safe, and ready to learn.

CSD implements the Parents as Teachers (PAT) curriculum, which is an early childhood parent education, family support, well-being, and school readiness personalized visiting model.

The PAT model is based on the premise that "all children will learn, grow, and develop to realize their full potential."

Bright Beginnings uses the following ways to partner with parents to help each child reach their full potential:

    Personalized Visits

Families are offered two personalized visits per month that allow the Parent Educators to model fun, interactive “play and learn activities.” Screenings are completed and provide an opportunity to better understand your child’s development. If delays are identified that may affect future learning, we assist with referrals to resources that may provide the needed support.

    Eaglets Class
The Eaglets class is designed for you and your child to learn together and provide an opportunity as well as to give your child a chance to work on their social skills.  This class can also help you to discover ways to provide these same types of experiences

for your child in your own home.

    Parent Groups

Parents meet to share ideas and experiences, as well as learn about child development issues. Parent Groups also help connect families to one another.

    Music & Movement
Music & Movement is a program designed to promote language development, which utilizes music, movement & repetition. Young children & their caregivers will learn nursery rhymes, new songs, finger plays, dances and more!
