    Received a Bachelor of Music Education from Winthrop University in 1994. Since then, has taught orchestra, general music, and chorus at various schools in Charlotte, NC. Cory is the former Basketball Band Director for The Charlotte 49ers at UNCC. He has taught in the Clover School District for 8 years, and 7 years as the 6th-8th grade Choral Director of Oakridge Middle School. He has played electric bass for The Clover High Choraliers for the passed 21 years, and was selcted Teacher of the Year for OMS 2012/2013.
