What's Up In PE?
I am looking forward to another year teaching your child Physical Education at Kinard Elementary. As we enter the 2017-2018 school year the importance and value of regular physical activity and exercise has been recognized as never before. Accompanying this recognition is the awareness that childhood is the time to begin the development of healthy and active lifestyles. Children do not automatically develop the skills, knowledge, attitudes and behaviors that lead to a regular and enjoyable participation. They must be taught.
It is my goal to provide Physical Education experiences that will lead to healthy and active lifestyles that will promote their physical skills, as well as, their social skills. In order for your child to participate safely in Physical Education class it is important that tennis shoes are worn.
