• art Week of: WEEK OF April 21 through May 28....
***IF YOU ARE ABSENT IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ASK FOR THE ASSIGNMENTS.  IF THE MAKE UP WORK REQUIRES ADDITIONAL TEACHER INSTRUCTION, YOU MUST MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO MEET WITH THE TEACHER AFTER CLASS, EITHER IN THE MORNING BEFORE SCHOOL OR AFTER SCHOOL. KEEP IN MIND THAT IN A STUDIO COURSE SOMETIMES THE MATERIALS AND TOOLS ARE NOT AVAILABLE TO YOU AT HOME, SO IT IS IN YOUR BEST INTEREST TO BE IN CLASS. ****

For the remainder of the school year, you will find information about my classes in paragraph form in this area of my page instead of in the chart below.  I do this because seniors begin to move around a bit and EOC affect our projects.  The major information is more easily outlined and understood in paragraph form.

**We will complete 2-3 more major art projects in the remaining weeks.  Those assignments are done in class and as long as you are in school you will have no problem completing assignments.

** This is very important!!!  Sketchbooks are due on Thursday May 15.  This is a change due date. Students have been notified and the information is also on the board in the classroom.  NO LATE WORK WILL BE ACCEPTED ON THIS ASSIGNMENT, because this has been assigned for 9 weeks for section 1 and for the entire semester for section 2.  Students have been given time in class through out the semester to complete the work and they were assigned to work on it at home as well.

*** Exam study guides will be given on May 21.  Students will have two days to complete the study guides in class from class notes, textbooks and collaborative group work. On Friday, May 23 I will conduct an oral exam review and answer any questions and clarify any concerns students may have.

** On May 27 and May 28 Seniors will take their final exams according to the school calendar.  Underclassmen will have to keep up with their exam study guides and can continue to study for their final exam.

** Friday May 30 is our room inventory and close down for the year. ALL STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO BE HERE AND PARTICIPATE IN THIS.  I do take a participation grade for their efforts on this day.

** Exam days for 9-11 grade students are on June 2 and June 3.  Make up exam day is June 4.

Stay focused...these last days will fly by and it is easy to get distracted.  Be in school, do your best, keep a good respectful attitude and you will finish strong in all of your classes.
