    Entrepreneurship

"The critical ingredient is getting off your butt and doing something. It's as simple as that. A lot of people have ideas, but there are few who decide to do something about them now. Not tomorrow. Not next week. But today. The true entrepreneur is a doer, not a dreamer" - Nolan Bushnell, founder of Atari and Chuck E. Cheese's

Entrepreneurs possess attitudes and skills that allow them to see opportunities in our changing economic environment.  Entrepreneurs use their resourcefulness and innovative abilities to find new and creative ways to take advantage of the economic changes that confront us on all levels -- personally, locally, nationally, and internationally.  Entrepreneurs turn these changes to their advantage in ways that benefit society.

This course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills leading to the development of a business plan for small business ownership.   Successful entrepreneurship is possible when individuals possess skills and abilities that are gained through experience, training, and education.  People are not born entrepreneurs.  They work to become entrepreneurs.
