Character Education
Clover Middle School is committed to academicexcellence and subscribes to the belief that intellect must be balanced withvirtue. Historically, the dual goals ofeducation have been to help children to grow intellectually and morally. Theadministration of the Clover School District and Clover Middle School believesthat character education is an important component of the overall instructionalprogram. The district’s aim is todevelop future citizens who are sound in mind, strong in body, and healthy inspirit and heart.
Rachels’Challenge Club
Students at CMS can join the Rachel’s Challenge Clubin order to be leaders in fostering a safe, nurturing environment at CMS. The students work to continue Rachel Scott’slegacy of five challenges:
- Eliminate prejudice
- Dare to Dream
- Choose your influences
- Use kind words
- Start a chain reaction of kindness
EAGLECharacter
Along with Rachel’s Challenges, our students areencouraged to display their High flying Eagle character. We encourage our students to show thefollowing character traits:
- Empathy
- Attitude (positive)
- Gratitude
- Leadership
