Welcome to Señorita Howard's Page!
¡Hola amigos! My name is Caitlin Howard and I LOVE teaching at Clover High School. This year is my 17th year teaching high school Spanish. Prior to Clover, I spent 4 years teaching in Raleigh, NC and 3 years teaching in Santa Rosa County, FL. I served as Vice President of Northwest Florida Foreign Language Association 2012-2013, President of the South Carolina chapter of American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese in 2017, and President of South Carolina Foreign Language Teachers' Association 2018-2019. I attended the University of Murcia in Murcia, Spain and graduated from Clarion University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor of science in Spanish Education. I earned my master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of West Florida. Additionally, I hold National Board Certification in Spanish. At CHS I teach Spanish I, II, and III. I am also the co-founder and sponsor of the CHS Spanish Honor Society, Blue Eagles Language Camp, and Feria Spanish Conference of South Carolina. I enjoy traveling to Spanish-speaking countries and I try to visit one every summer. Please see my travel log below. I also sponsor the Europe trip here at CHS. I look forward to a fun and fantastic year filled with español! :)
