    Instructional Technology Coach

  • Welcome to Bethel Elementary School's Innovation page! I am the LEAD Innovation Coach and am very excited about the creating, building, and growing happening day in and day out at Bethel!

This is my 20th year in education. My husband teaches sixth grade and coaches middle school soccer. We live in Clover and have two amazing kids, Jackson and Bailey Drew.  They keep me very busy outside of school!
Other things that keep me busy outside of school are some of my favorite activities. I enjoy running, reading, and cooking. I have run in several 5ks, 10ks, and four half marathons. My goal is to run a full marathon one day. I also love to read many different kinds of books. My favorite series has been The Hunger Games Trilogy. Trying new recipes is another favorite hobby of mine. I like the

hike challenge of trying to make favorite recipes healthier for my family!

I am excited about this school year! I think it’ll be Bethel’s best one yet! I'm excited to be part of a team that is striving for EXCELLENCE!

  • Use your devices for school work and homework and then get outside and have fun!
Here is a great article about setting limits on "screen time" and electronics!

  • internet searching
Students have been practicing safely using the internet.  We have discussed the importance of having an adult's permission before going online, talking to only people we know, and visiting websites that are "just right" for us.  In the upper grades we have learned how to filter results using Google that will bring us to kid-friendly websites.  For the younger grades, please check my link library for kid-friendly search engines.  These are great to use when looking for appropriate content and images.  Happy Searching!
iPad Students in PreK through grade 5 all have access to an iPad for instructional purposes.  Students spend time learning and using educational apps in the classroom.  We are so excited about receiving these devices and the endless opportunities for learning!
