My name is Ashley Cook. I graduated from Winthrop University in 2006 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I have 12 years of teaching experience. I have taught Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and Second grade. From 2006-2014, I taught Pre-K and Kindergarten in the Rock Hill school district. I took two years off so that I could be with my youngest child. He was born with a congenital heart and kidney defect that required 5 major surgeries within his first two years of life. He is doing so much better! In 2016, I joined CCE as a second grade teacher. I enjoyed the experience but my heart belongs to the little ones. This will be my fourth year at CCE and I am thrilled to be an Eagle!
My husband, Matt, and I have two beautiful children and a goldendoodle named Charlotte. Kate is ten years old and Andrew is four. Kate is a 5th grader and Andrew is in Pre-K at CCE.
My favorite hobbies include: decorating, reading, writing, playing with my kids, singing silly songs, traveling with my husband, shopping, swimming, boating, and hanging out with family and friends.
I look forward to getting to know you and your child this year in Pre-Kindergarten!
