Hello! My name is Jalise Brown and I am a 3rd-grade teacher here at Kinard. This will be my third year teaching here and I am so grateful to be a part of such a wonderful community. I was born and raised in Summerville, SC. I went to school at Winthrop University, where I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. 

I absolutely love children and building relationships with my students. It is very fulfilling to see students' growth throughout the year as they learn not only core content but also how to become leaders. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, shopping, spending time with family and friends, and reading! I am looking forward to a great school year!
