    Julie Moser

    2nd Grade Teacher

    A bit about me...

My name is Julie Moser. I am from Clover although I lived in Tucson, Arizona, for ten years. I have been here at Bethany in second grade for 14 years. I am a graduate of Winthrop University where I received a Bachelor's in Elementary Education. My husband and I have been married for 20 years and have two children, Cameron who is 11, and Chloe who is 10. I love teaching here in my hometown, especially here at Bethany!

Happy January! Welcome back from a great Christmas break. I hope your family had a great Christmas and relaxing time during the holidays. We have started off our new year by working on an important skill in math, subtracting larger numbers. Your child will learn several strategies to help them conquer this difficult concept. We will be working on subtraction for several weeks and they will have opportunity for lots of practice! During science, we are learning about friction, forces of motion, and writing lab reports based on some fun experiments involving toy cars and ramps!! We are reading and comparing different versions of fairy tales and enjoying their similarities and differences. Thank you so much for making sure you child reads and completes their homework daily.
