About Mrs. Moore
This is my twenty-sixth year of teaching and my twenty fourth year at Bethel. Every year has been an exciting, memorable, time of growth as I have been lucky to teach such wonderful students. I especially enjoy the enthusiastic students, staff, and parents at Bethel.
I live in Rock Hill with my husband John and our two children, Patrick and Mattie Jane. They are the love of our lives, and we enjoy our family time.I graduated from Winthrop University in 1994 with a B.S. in Elementary Education. I completed a Master's degree in the area of reading in 1997. I continued my learning with endorsement in Gifted and Talented education and National Board Certification in Literacy. I look forward to continuing my education throughout my teaching career.I love to read, sew, and exercise. I often rise at 5 am for a run before the school day begins, and I ride my bike around 100 miles per week; cycling is my favorite. I go to the gym on off days and walk with my husband at night!
I promote an atmosphere of safety, trust, and respect in my classroom. I work hard to establish a feeling of security for my students, so they can learn to be creative, independent thinkers. I love being a teacher and accept the responsibility with a great deal of dedication and joy!
