I am originally born and raised in Spartanburg, South Carolina. I have a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Winthrop University and a Master's degree in Divergent Learning from Columbia College. I have been at Bethel and in the Clover School District for 12 years. I taught kindergarten for 5 years and this is my 7th teaching first grade. I am have been married for 15 years. We have 3 beautiful daughters, twins, Morgan and Taylor who will be in 8th grade this year and Emma Grace who is 2 1/2. I love football season, although I am not a die hard fan of any team. However, I do have to pull for Clemson when they play Carolina. I am a fan of most foods but my all-time favorite food is a tie between Mexican and Italian. Of course, I cannot leave out the chocolate and peanut butter!! Yummy!!! I enjoy vacationing with my family in both the mountains and the beach. My husband and I would love to retire one day in our favorite vacation spot, Charleston.
