    This is my twelfth year teaching at Clover High School. Originally from Rock Hill, I graduated from Winthrop University with a BA in History and a concentration in secondary education.
     
    My current schedule is as follows:
     
    First block:      Sociology
    Second block:  Sociology
    Third block:     Planning
    Fourth block:  Sociology 
     
    * Extra help sessions can be scheduled before or after school or during my planning period.
     
     
  • Students are encouraged to bring in items we use communally, such as paper towels, kleenex, hand sanitizer, art supplies, dry erase markers, Lysol wipes, etc.

  • Current events will be assigned twice a quarter. Due dates will be announced a week in advance, and some students will be selected to present.
    Points will be combined and as a quiz grade.
     
    Acceptable sources include: newspapers, magazines, or the Internet. Articles less than 300 words will not be considered.
    Students will receive handouts in class with in-depth information on Current Event assignment guidelines.
