School Improvement Council
-
The Griggs Road School Improvement Council is a body of elected parents, community, and staff members that help guide the mission and vision of Griggs Road Elementary School.
This body meets monthly on the second Monday of the month at 4:30. It is the duty of the School Improvement Council to create the annual Report to Parents, develop and approve the School Renewal Plan, and develop and implement processes that lead to higher student achievement and a stronger culture within the school.
Driven by the school mission statement "...in partnership with the community, is to prepare lifelong learners to be productive in an ever changing world by providing quality education in an environment conducive to learning," the School Improvement Council makes decisions that allow Griggs Road to be among the top elementary schools in South Carolina.
