Clover High School congratulates Cadet Caitlin Bowman on her acceptance into the United States Naval Academy Summer Seminar in Annapolis, Maryland.

The Summer Seminars are a fast-paced, six-day experience for high school students who are high achievers. The Summer Seminar selection process is very competitive with only 3,000 students selected; more than 18,000 students apply each year. The intensive program teaches students about life at the Naval Academies and how academics, athletics, and professional training all play equally important roles in developing great leaders.  Additionally, the seminars help educate, motivate and prepare students who are considering applying for admission to a service academy.

Cadet Bowman is currently the Deputy Group Commander within the high school’s Air Force JROTC program.  She is a junior and the daughter of Mr and Mrs. Jim Bowman of Clover.  Her JROTC instructors are Chief Louis Csencsits and Major Brian Batson.             Congratulations Caitlin!
