Food Drive Successful for JROTC Cadets

The Clover High School JROTC Kitty Hawk Air Society sponsored a Food Collection Drive on Saturday, February 23rd at the Lake Wylie Bi-Lo grocery store.

Cadet Lieutenant Colonel Madeleine Burrell, the Kitty Hawk Air Society Commander, was responsible for planning, organizing and executing this charity event to assist the Clover Area Assistance Center.

Despite the cold and rainy weather, twenty-one cadets came out dressed in their best uniform to assist with promoting this worthy cause.

kh Major Brian Batson, the Senior Aerospace Science Instructor, stated "The cadets did great!  They collected over 2, 500 food items which will help support the needy during these hard economic times."

Way to go Blue Eagles!
