FFA Dairy Judging Competition

On Saturday April 13th four young ladies competed in the Dairy Judging competition. They had to judge 8 classes of dairy cows, give reasons, take a general knowledge exam, and complete a team event based on health and diseases of dairy cattle. The team brought home a State Championship and will attend National FFA Convention in the Fall. Team members were Gwen Brochu (2nd high individual of the entire contest), Kameron Cogdill (3rd high individual of the entire contest), Katie Racz, and Jordan Major. Please congratulate these young ladies for a job well done.

Also, Lilly Wray competed in the Dairy Handling contest where she had to exhibit dairy cattle for the dairy judgers. She was judged on her control of the animal and properly placing their feet. Lilly placed first and brought home a State Championship as well. She will also attend National FFA Convention in the Fall.
