Jessica Allred Named 2019-2020 Clover School District Teacher of the Year

CLOVER, S.C. – On the brink of a new school new, the Clover School District announced Jessica Allred of Oakridge Elementary School as the 2019-2020 District Teacher of the Year at the annual Opening Convocation, Tuesday morning at the CSD Auditorium.

Allred, entering her 15th year in education, was selected from a group of 11 peers representing each of the district's schools by a selection committee made up of members of the Clover community. 

As district teacher of the year, she will represent the district and vie for the title of State Teacher of the Year.  A graduate of Clemson University, Allred is a fifth-grade math and science teacher. 

Prior to Clover, Allred taught in Anderson School District Four for five years and in Lancaster School District for a year.  She is a native of York County and a graduate of York Comprehensive High School.
