Guerin Named Principal of Bethany Elementary

CLOVER, S.C. – Superintendent Dr. Sheila Quinn has announced that the Clover School District Board of Trustees has approved the appointment of Margaret Guerin as the next principal of Bethany Elementary School. 

Guerin, who has spent the past two years as the assistant principal at Bethany Elementary, will succeed Kathy Weathers as principal following Mrs. Weathers move to CSD Special Services. 

A graduate of Winthrop University, Guerin earned a Bachelor’s of Art in Early Childhood Education as an undergraduate. She earned a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from the University of South Carolina. 

In 2004, Guerin began her educational career teaching Kindergarten. Guerin taught Pre-K, Kindergarten, 2nd grade, and 3rd grade over the next ten years before moving into accepting a position as a Technology Coach. Before her current role at Bethany Elementary, she was an assistant principal at Larne Elementary.
