Clover High School Adds Safety Measures for 2020 Football Season

Clover High School announces safety measures that will be in place for the 2020 football season.

Capacity at Clover Memorial Stadium will be reduced to 1,477 spectators and each section will have designated seats sold that are socially distanced on both sides of the stadium.  Spectators will be required to wear masks throughout the duration of their time at Memorial Stadium and remain in their seats throughout games.  Concession services will be available with volunteers selling beverages and snacks in the stands, as the concession stand itself will be closed.

Tickets have been made available on a priority basis and have already been sold out for the season opener against Wren.  There will be no walkup tickets sales.  For the remaining two home games, if tickets are still available after priority tickets have been offered, Clover High School will announce that information the week of the game.

Prior to and after the games, tailgating will not be permitted in the parking lots of Memorial Stadium.  Fans will be asked to leave the facility in a prompt fashion.  No loitering will be permitted.

Memorial Stadium will once again utilize security measures that were put into place in August of 2019.  Those safety requirements include:

  • A clear bag policy
  • Metal detectors and wands at each entrance
  • Parental guidance required for all students 12-years-old and younger

If you are unable to attend in person, all Clover High School home games will be available to view on https://www.nfhsnetwork.com/schools/clover-high-school-clover-sc.
