Carroll Hester Named 2021-2022 Clover School District Teacher of the Year

CLOVER, S.C. – On the brink of a new school new, the Clover School District announced Carroll Hester of Crowders Creek Elementary School as the 2021-2022 District Teacher of the Year at the annual Opening Convocation, Monday morning.

Hester, entering his 44th year in education, was selected from a group of 11 peers representing each of the district's schools by a selection committee made up of members of the Clover community. 

As district teacher of the year, he will represent the district and vie for the title of State Teacher of the Year.  A graduate of Winthrop College, Hester teaches physical education. 

Prior to his role at Crowders Creek,Hester was the Athletic Director at Clover High School from 2004-2016.  He has also taught in Greer, Greenville, Tigerville, and Chester.
