CSD Opens with Record Enrollment

The Clover School District (CSD) kicked off the new school year today by welcoming a record number of students.

A total of 9,241 students were slated to begin classes today across the district’s 10 campuses. This is an increase of 408 students over the district’s enrollment of 8,833 students at the close of the 2021-2022 school year.

Parents packed their patience as they waited in long car rider lines during morning dropoff and afternoon pickup.

Once inside the schools, however, students focused on meeting their new teachers, learning classroom rules and procedures and interacting with challenging and engaging course work.

Enrollment fluctuates dramatically in the early days of a new school year, with many new enrollments and withdrawals. Community members may track the district’s growth on a real-time dashboard that will be published this week on the district’s website.
