Middle School Students Visit ATC

Sixth graders from Clover Middle School and Oakridge Middle School visited the Applied Technology Campus (ATC) at Clover High School this week to learn more about the district’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) offerings.

 

ATC students served as tour guides for groups of around 30 middle school students. The groups visited the classrooms of each program, viewed the specialized equipment used in each area and had an opportunity to ask questions.

 

Some of the programs featured on the tour included:

  • Diesel Mechanics;

  • Agricultural Science;

  • Family and Consumer Science (FACS);

  • Sports Medicine;

  • Culinary Arts;

  • Early Childhood Development;

  • Computer Programming;

  • Fire Science/EMT;

  • Building Construction;

  • Media Technology; and 

  • Health Occupations.
