Clover School District (CSD) Students Post Strong Gains on SC READY and SC PASS Assessments

Clover School District (CSD) students continued to make strong gains and to outpace other students in the Palmetto State in their performance on state assessments in Reading, Math and Science.

The percentage of students who met or exceeded standards on the assessments increased at all grade levels on all assessments, except for seventh grade mathematics. Those increases ranged from a 0.2% increase in seventh grade English Language Arts to a dramatic 12.8% increase in sixth grade Science. Other notable improvements included an 11.6% increase in sixth grade English Language Arts and an 8.3% increase in sixth grade Math.

“Our mission in the Clover School District is to prepare each child for a successful, productive and responsible future. These test scores demonstrate the commitment our School Board, staff, families and students have made to this mission. We strive for excellence with each child, each day, as we advance our students toward South Carolina’s Profile of a Graduate. We can’t wait to see what improvements are ahead of us as we focus on Real, Empowering, Authentic Learning in our classrooms through Personalized and Project-Based Learning lessons,” said Superintendent Dr. Sheila Quinn.
