CSD Begins Community Engagement Process for Names, Mascots and Colors of Three New Schools
Clover School District (CSD) today kicked off a five-month community engagement process to select the names, mascots and colors for three new schools the district will open in August 2026.
The schools to be opened include High School #2. This school is being funded by the Bond approved by voters in November 2022. Elementary School #8 will be co-located on the Daimler Property with High School #2. It is being funded through the district’s 8% borrowing authority. With the construction of High School #2, ninth graders will attend class on the campuses of Clover High and High School #2. This vacates the current Ninth Grade Campus, which will be designated as Middle School #3.
Community members have from now through October 31 to complete two online surveys to offer their suggestions for the names, mascots and colors of these three new schools.

“Clover School District is excited to get this process underway. Our community needs these new schools to address growth, and giving these schools an identity is one of our first priorities as we begin making important design decisions,” said Superintendent Dr. Sheila Quinn.
Focus groups will review community suggestions and make recommendations to the Superintendent. The Superintendent will present the recommendations to the School Board at a Work Session on February 12, 2024. The Board is expected to take a final vote on the recommendations on February 26, 2024.
