The CSD Board of Trustees approved the 2024-2025 Academic Calendar on Monday, November 27, at the district’s monthly board meeting.
This approval represents a continuation of the “Modified Balanced” calendar that CSD adopted for the 2023-2024 school year.
In 2024, the district will start school on Thursday, August 1st.

Labor Day: September 2, 2024
Fall Intercession: October 7-11, 2024
Election Day: November 5, 2024
Thanksgiving Break: November 27-29, 2024
Winter Break: December 21, 2024 - January 6, 2025
Winter Intercession: February 17-21, 2025
Spring Break: April 21-25, 2025
Last Day of School: May 29, 2025
Graduation: May 29, 2025
The district will continue to have early release days in conjunction with the release of Interim Report. Those days will occur on the following dates:
Friday, August 30, 2024
Friday, November 15, 2024
Friday, February 7, 2025
Friday, April 18, 2025
On these dates, students will be released two-hours earlier than the regularly scheduled dismissal times.
Within the calendar, there are 180 student days, as well as ten teacher workdays/professional development days. Also, three required inclement weather make-up days, January 6, February 17, and March 21, are built into the calendar.
