Mrs. Burgess’ 2nd grade class has been learning about Matter in science. Today, they wrapped up their unit with hands-on Matter Stations! Students rotated around to 5 different stations to apply their new knowledge to some fun science experiments. They melted crayons, made Coke floats, tested the flexibility of certain solids, predicted if items would sink or float, and showed what the particles of matter look like using Cheerios! Thank you to the parent volunteers who came in and helped make these stations run smoothly!
