Registration is now open for pre-kindergarten and kindergarten age students for the 2026-2027 school year. To be eligible to register, children must be age four for pre-kindergarten, or age five for kindergarten on or before September 1st. Each child should be registered by their parent/legal guardian for the elementary school zone in which they will reside for 2026-2027.
Pre-kindergarten and kindergarten registration is completed online through the Clover School District website. Rising kindergarten students who attended a Clover School District pre-kindergarten program can update their existing student registration application and upload required documents on or after March 2, 2026. All new pre-kindergarten and kindergarten students entering the district for the first time will log into the Clover School District website, select Enroll, and then select “New Account” to begin the application process.
Registration does require you submit all documentation listed below in the online form. If you are unable to submit digitally, you may reach out to your zoned elementary school for alternative options. For pre-kindergarten families only, a screening assessment appointment will be scheduled once all documents have been uploaded.
Documentation required for each student includes:
1. Two (2) proofs of residence that include the name and address of the parent/legal guardian (for more information visit the proof of residence website--https://www.clover.k12.sc.us/page/residency-information
2. Current and updated immunization record on the South Carolina Immunization Form (DHEC 4024). This must reflect your child’s current age. This form can be obtained by:
a. Asking your child’s Health Care Provider for the immunizations to be printed on a South Carolina Immunization Form.
b. Taking your child’s current immunization record to a South Carolina Health Department for transfer to a South Carolina Immunization Form (DHEC 4024).
3. Proof of birth (e.g. a legal birth certificate with the state seal)
For more information about our pre-kindergarten program, click here to visit the Early Childhood Education Section on the website to access the answers to Frequently Asked Questions--https://www.clover.k12.sc.us/page/early-childhood-education.

Attendance is mandatory and compulsory for five-year-olds. Parents may sign a waiver at their local school district office if they desire not to send their child(ren) to kindergarten.

Our amazing 4th graders from our Student Lighthouse Team took time this morning to restock our community Blessing Box. Right now, our Blessing Box is getting a little slim, and we are open to donations to help support families in our community. If you’re able, we would greatly appreciate:
🍎 Fruits
🥫 Packaged meals
🥩 Canned meats
🥣 Breakfast foods (oatmeal, cereal)
Every donation—big or small—makes a difference. Thank you for helping us take care of one another and for supporting our students as they learn the power of giving.

The Steel Creek Bluegrass Band visited Larne Elementary to perform for our 5th graders, bringing the rich sounds of traditional bluegrass music to life. Students enjoyed an exciting live performance filled with energetic picking, heartfelt singing, and classic bluegrass tunes.
After the show, band members answered students’ questions about their instruments and shared insights into what it’s like to perform bluegrass music. It was a wonderful opportunity for our students to experience this unique musical tradition up close.

✨ Huge shoutout to 5th-grade parent David Clark! ✨
Today he visited Mrs. Terry's classroom to teach students how to use a 3D printer as they kick off their upcoming 3D printing project. The kids were absolutely captivated, from watching the printer in action to learning how ideas become real, tangible creations. Hands-on learning like this makes all the difference, and we are so grateful for families who share their talents with our students. Thank you, Mr. Clark, for inspiring our young makers!

🎶 Escape the 80’s! 🎶
Our 4th graders took a totally rad trip back in time last week with a 1980’s-themed room transformation! From neon lights to cassette tapes, students were immersed in the sights and sounds of the decade as they worked together to “Escape the 80’s.” Using their math, science, and reading skills, students solved clues, cracked codes, and completed challenges to make their way back to the present day! It was a totally tubular way to learn and have fun! 😎

🌍🎃 Annual 3rd Grade Pumpkin Globe Museum! 🎃🌍
Our 3rd graders turned pumpkins into globes to show off their geography skills! 🧭✨ Each pumpkin displays the continents, oceans, equator, and prime meridian—a creative way to bring social studies to life.
