🥫 Holiday Food Drive - November 17-21! 🥫
Our school is coming together to help families in need this holiday season! We’re collecting nonperishable food items to support our local community and make sure everyone can enjoy a special holiday meal. You can help by sending in items like canned vegetables, gravy, cranberry sauce, boxed stuffing, rice, or mashed potatoes. Every item makes a difference! Please refer to the flyer below for more information and the picture to show where the boxes for drop off are located.

🎶 Escape the 80’s! 🎶
Our 4th graders took a totally rad trip back in time last week with a 1980’s-themed room transformation! From neon lights to cassette tapes, students were immersed in the sights and sounds of the decade as they worked together to “Escape the 80’s.” Using their math, science, and reading skills, students solved clues, cracked codes, and completed challenges to make their way back to the present day! It was a totally tubular way to learn and have fun! 😎

🌍🎃 Annual 3rd Grade Pumpkin Globe Museum! 🎃🌍
Our 3rd graders turned pumpkins into globes to show off their geography skills! 🧭✨ Each pumpkin displays the continents, oceans, equator, and prime meridian—a creative way to bring social studies to life. We’re so proud of our students for combining art and learning in such a gourd-geous way! A big shout out to Ms. Shannon and Mr. Bryson for having their grant funded so all third graders could receive a free pumpkin this year from Black’s Peaches in York, SC.

Today we are celebrating our custodians and cafeteria staff! We would like to give them a huge thank you for all they do for us! Our school would certainly not run as smoothly without these two teams! The Hospitality Committee provided breakfast for them this morning.

To celebrate, everyone gets to wear their pajamas to school this Friday! (Be sure your pjs are school appropriate and no slippers.)

Girls on the Run registration has opened. Don't miss the chance to be part of an amazing program with coaches Ms. Flanagan, Mrs. Dover, Mrs. Hoffman, Mrs. Edwards, Mrs. Frazier, and Mrs. Larson. Practices will be Monday and Wednesday from 2:20-4:00 starting on September 15. Sign up today!

We apologize but the internet and all phones are down at schools across the Clover School District due to an AT&T outage. This means that schools and the Transportation Department are unable to receive parent phone calls at this time.

Reminder that our first day of school is August 4 and our bell schedule is 7:30-2:15. We can't wait to see everyone!

CSD parents and guardians will receive a text message and email on Wednesday, July 30, from Apptegy, the district's communication tool provider.
This invitation is not spam or junk mail! It will direct you to download the CSD mobile app and create a Rooms account to support communication between you and your child's teacher(s).
Secondary parents who created accounts last winter do not need to take any additional action. The primary aim of this distribution is to reach all elementary parents and secondary parents who have not yet set up accounts.
Need some help? Check out support resources on our homepage at https://www.clover.k12.sc.us/o/district/page/rooms-support.

You're invited to Meet the Teacher at Larne Elementary on Thursday, July 31 from 3:00-5:00pm. We look forward to seeing all of our students and families!
