Laissez les bon temps rouler!
In honor of Mardi Gras, students at the Ninth Grade Campus in Dr. Shannon Godwin's class delivered presentations about how Mardi Gras and Shrove Tuesday are observed in countries around the world.
Of course, Shrove Tuesday and Mardi Gras are always a great excuse for pancakes! The students organized the supplies and equipment to serve up pancakes in their classroom after the presentations.

Kindergarten students at Bethany Elementary celebrated Dental Health Month today with a visit from local dentist and Clover LEAF Board Member Catherine Myrick, DMD.
Dr. Myrick demonstrated good brushing habits on a stuffed tiger and read two stories to the students. "Sugar Bug Doug" talked about the importance of a healthy diet and oral hygiene practices.
The young students were especially interested in the second book which focused on a bear who has a loose tooth.

Thanks to a generous grant from Clover LEAF, the Montessori program at Griggs Road Elementary is giving new life to a school courtyard garden.
Montessori education emphasizes real-world skills, hands-on learning and independence, so a garden project lends itself to this instructional model.
The students and parents gathered yesterday to hold a “garden raising” and kickoff the work on the project. The grant funds enabled the Montessori students and their parents to construct garden beds and begin planting strawberries and flowers.

Registration is now open for pre-kindergarten and kindergarten students in the Clover School District for the 2025-2026 school year.

A pick up and delivery event for the donated food is currently being scheduled.

Happy President's Day!

Good morning, CSD! This is your reminder that today is an e-Learning Day to make up for the instruction missed on January 22 due to inclement weather.
Today is asynchronous, meaning that students will not log on to their devices for live instruction. Instead, they will be completing assignments in Canvas (the district's online learning management system) or provided paper packets.
Completion of the work by Monday, March 3rd will ensure that students are counted as present for the missed school day.

Have a safe and fun Winter Intersession!

It's Love the Bus Month!
Love the Bus Month, sponsored by the National Association for Pupil Transportation (NAPT), is a time to harness the nation's affection for the iconic yellow school bus and
highlight its vital role in our education system. The aim of the observation is to salute the
professionals who safeguard students on their journeys, to and from school, and to recognize them as the everyday heroes that they truly are.
