The internationally acclaimed Jazz Ambassadors of Washington, DC will continue its long tradition of presenting free public performances when they appear in Clover, SC at Clover SchoolDistrict Auditorium on Saturday,  November 1st, 2025 at 7:30PM. 

The Jazz Ambassadors’ concert in Clover is presented by the Clover School District Auditorium.

The Jazz Ambassadors is the official touring big band of the United States Army. Formed in 1969, this 19-member ensemble has received great acclaim at home and abroad performing America's greatest original art form, jazz.

Concerts by the Jazz Ambassadors are programmed to entertain all types of audiences. The band’s diverse repertoire includes big band swing, bebop, Latin, contemporary jazz, standards, popular tunes, traditional New Orleans jazz, vocals, and patriotic selections, many of which are written or arranged by members of the Jazz Ambassadors.

The Jazz Ambassadors has appeared in all 50 states, Canada, Mexico, Japan, India, and throughout Europe. Recent notable performances include concerts at the Toronto Jazz Festival, the Richmond Jazz Festival at Maymont, the Kennedy Center Honors, the Jazz Education Network Conference, and an appearance on the Colbert Report.

Gordon Goodwin, Bobby Shew, Ernie Watts, and the Dave Brubeck All-Star Quintet are just a few of the outstanding jazz artists who have shared the stage with the Jazz Ambassadors. The band has been featured in joint concerts with Marvin Hamlisch and the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, the San Diego Symphony Orchestra, the Seattle Symphony Pops, the Colorado Pops Orchestra, and the New York Pops at Carnegie Hall.

The band’s rigorous touring schedule and reputation for excellence has earned it the title “America’s Big Band.”

October 10 is an international day for global mental health education, awareness, and advocacy against social stigma.

Thousands of supporters come to celebrate this annual awareness program to bring attention to mental illness and its major effects on people's lives worldwide.

CLOVER HIGH DRAMA CLUB PRESENTS

RADIUM GIRLS

In 1926, radium was a hailed as a miracle cure, Madame Curie was an international celebrity, and luminous watches were all the rage--until the girls who painted them began to fall ill with a mysterious disease.

Inspired by true events, Radium Girls follows the journey of Grace Fryer, a dial painter, determined to seek justice in court. Her former employer and chief adversary, Arthur Roeder is an idealist who struggles to accept that the same element that shrinks tumors could be responsible for the alarming wave of illnesses among his employees.

Clover High School Drama Club will present Radium Girls on Friday, October 24 and Saturday, October 25, at 7:00pm. Tickets will be on sale in the lobby prior to the performance.

Red Ribbon Week is the nation’s largest and longest running week long celebration focusing on the importance of living a healthy,drug free life-style.

This year’s theme-“Life Is A Puzzle. Solve It Drug Free!” symbolizes how every choice fits into the bigger picture.

      CSDA Performing Arts Series Unveils Stellar Lineup for 24th Season

FINDING YOUR WAY AROUND CAMPUS

TRAFFIC PATTERNS AND PARKING AREA ACCESS ON CAMPUS

CHS/CSDA Entry: The main entrance has been relocated to the former CHS Gym entrance. The slight left turn leading to the front of CSDA and the parking area remains.

An entrance has been added to the lower end of the parking area, enabling patrons to park, or to circle back around for dropping off and picking up passengers before exiting campus.

NGC Parking: Changes to traffic and parking at the ninth grade campus include new parking areas. A separate new entry is located between the NGC building and the game field.

The travel lane between CHS and NGC has been deleted and the two campuses are no longer connected. Patrons that prefer to park at the NGC will now have to use the new entry.
