With one of soul music’s most iconic group names, Chairmen of the Board continues to delight audiences with their signature blend of the Motown soul, rich vocal harmonies, and infectious R&B rhythms.
They burst onto the scene in the early 1970’s with the timeless hit Give Me Just A Little More Time, featuring the charismatic and emotionally powerful vocals of lead singer General Johnson.
After Johnson’s passing in 2010, longtime member Ken Knox, - now with the group for over 49 years - stepped up to carry the torch. Alongside Thomas Hunter, Patrick McGuire, and their six-member backing band, The Executives, the group continues to honor Johnson’s legacy.
As musical trends evolve, The Chairmen of the Board remains a constant, delivering heartfelt and soulful songs that have defined beach music for generations.
Chairmen of the Board will perform at Clover School District Auditorium on Thursday, March 5, at 7:00pm. Tickets are available at the door.
For more information about this event call the auditorium at 803‑222‑8018.

The lobbies of Clover School District Auditorium will transform into an art gallery as selected works from students in kindergarten through high school are on display during the annual Clover School District Visual Art Exhibit.
To accommodate such a large crowd in the lobbies, separate viewing nights have been selected for schools. Each school will invite guests to come view the exhibit on their designated night. Doors will open at 5:30pm and will remain open until 7:00pm.
Thank you for understanding these precautions and abiding by the guidelines the art teachers, principals, and district leaders have put in place to ensure a safe, enjoyable exhibit for everyone.

It’s a dark and stormy night, and our cast of oddball characters has been invited to a very unusual dinner party. Each of the guests has an alias, the butler offers a variety of weapons, and the host is, well, dead. So whodunit? Join the iconic oddballs known as Scarlet, Plum, White, Green, Peacock and Mustard as they race to find the murderer in Boddy Manor before the body count stacks up.
Based on the cult classic film and the popular board game, Clue is a madcap comedy that will keep you guessing until the final twist.
Clover High School Drama Club will present CLUE on Friday, March 20, and Saturday, March 21, at 7:00pm. Tickets will be available at the door.
For more information contact Clover High School at 803-810-8200.

. The meeting is scheduled for Monday, March 30, at 6:30pm.

On Tuesday, March 31 the Clover High School Band will perform for the district’s annual Fine Arts Expo. Fourth and fifth grade students will learn about the various musical instruments and ensembles while enjoying a performance by the Bands of Clover.

For over twenty years, the Clover School District Auditorium Performing Arts Series has been made possible from support from the Clover School District, The North Carolina Presenters Consortium, The South Carolina Arts Commission, The Hub, Arts Daily, and from patrons like you!

Here's a closer look at the artists appearing at Clover School District Auditorium this season.
TRAFFIC PATTERNS AND PARKING AREA ACCESS ON CAMPUS
CHS/CSDA Entry: The main entrance has been relocated to the former CHS Gym entrance. The slight left turn leading to the front of CSDA and the parking area remains.
An entrance has been added to the lower end of the parking area, enabling patrons to park, or to circle back around for dropping off and picking up passengers before exiting campus.
NGC Parking: Changes to traffic and parking at the ninth grade campus include new parking areas. A separate new entry is located between the NGC building and the game field.
The travel lane between CHS and NGC has been deleted and the two campuses are no longer connected. Patrons that prefer to park at the NGC will now have to use the new entry.
