The CSD Summer Arts Camp offers opportunity for further exposure in the arts to students who show a natural inclination in a particular area and are recommended by their related arts teacher. Theater, dance, visual arts and music are explored through various techniques and approaches culminating in a student showcase which is shared with students’ families and district staff on the final day of camp. The goal of this summer opportunity is to inspire and ignite natural passion within the arts that fosters drive not only in the academic setting, but in everyday life, as well.

Clover School District (CSD) has been awarded a mini-grant of nearly $15,000 from the South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) Office of Personalized Learning.
The grant, named “Pathways to Proficiency,” will support five in-district inquiry labs during the 20024-2025 school year.
Inquiry labs provide teachers with professional learning focused on observing innovative teaching practices in action during classroom visits. Following the visits, teachers participate in question and answer sessions with both the teacher and his or her students. Instructional practices highlighted during an inquiry lab may include student ownership and agency, flexible learning environments or assessment. Two teachers from each school will participate in this project.
