GED Preparation
Tri-District Adult Education offers two 10-Week Online Class Sessions for adults who do not yet have a high school diploma to build the skills needed for success on the GED Test.
What You'll Do:
Attend synchronous online classes from 6:30pm - 8:30pm on Mondays and Thursdays.
Complete approximately one to two hours of online homework assignments between class sessions to help you master the skills needed to pass the GED.
What You'll Need to Participate:
Must be an adult learner without a high school diploma living in South Carolina.
Must have an unexpired South Carolina ID (driver’s license, state identification card, etc).
Must have a computer with a webcam and reliable Internet access.
Qualifying placement test scores (TABE Reading M-4+; TABE Math M-2+).
How to Get Started:
Complete the online registration form.
Attend 1 night of face-to-face placement testing from 5:30pm to 8:30pm the week prior to class starting.
You will be contacted via a telephone call once you register to schedule your initial placement test.
Bring your SC ID and $20 class fee when you come in for your placement test.
Look for an email on the Wednesday after your initial assessment with instructions on how to join the mandatory online orientation.
